Your essentials, without the noise
Black&White Phone™ is a simple Android launcher that puts your chosen essentials up front as readable names, without app icons. Choose and arrange the apps that belong on Home, hide apps from the launcher and find the rest with text or voice search. Light and dark appearances follow your preference.
Make room for a pause
Set daily app limits, opening pauses and recurring schedules in Detox. Opening pauses apply when launching through Black&White Phone™; daily limits and schedules need optional Android permissions to work beyond the launcher.
Understand your usage
See your Android-recorded usage in Detox without a separate usage history.
Focus when you choose
Use the Focus switch for Do Not Disturb or selected-app blocking. Choose its actions and position on Home. Calling, system settings and launcher recovery stay accessible. Android permissions and device behavior affect enforcement; the launcher remains usable without focus permissions.
Keep control of your data
Settings and focus processing stay on your device. There is no account, advertising, remote analytics or subscription. When no visible app matches a search, queries are sent to Google for suggestions. Voice input uses Android’s speech-recognition provider, which may process audio online. The launcher saves no audio. Read the privacy policy for the permissions, external services and your choices.
Coming to Android
Black&White Phone™ is in development for Android 10 and later. There is no published Google Play listing yet. The planned model is one paid download with the included features and no subscription.
